“Frosty Morning Fields with Tree.” Can you see the ice crystals? The rug I use to cover my little greenhouse was still wet from rain, and the night was pretty chilly. The ice was crystalized, and closeup the weave pattern and the maple tree bud looked like a distance photo of stepped fields on hills with just that one tree. “Conceptual garden art.”

Finally caught a sunrise over the Croton Gorge! So much cloud cover, it’s been a while since I’ve been able to get a decent sunrise. With the snow/ice on one of the concrete railings I tried to get the vertex of the angle pointing to the sun. It’s pretty close.

Here where I live it’s not usual to see ice or snow.
