Peak & Ulanzi (F38) seems to be missing. Both with excellent customer service.

Highly recommend the F38 or it’s Arca Swiss brother. Looking forward to Peak’s update on their carbon version.

Is there a reason for not mentioning Peak Design? Like parkylondon and dwatson4 I’m very surprised it hasn’t made this ‘ranking’. I’ve used it for years now and am very satisfied.

A very important consideration is “how big, fully folded” – alongside “weight”.

You’ve given the various weights – but only the overall length for two [??} of them, and not the other two dimensions. I suppose anyone interested could look up that info.

I don’t comment on these articles often, but I have paid what I think is a significant amount of money for the Gitzo GT2543L Mountaineer Series and ball head, and if they offered me a new free replacement I would pass. The unit is completed garbage. I vote no on anything made by Gitzo.

I agree with parkylondon, what about the Peak Design Travel Tripod. Obviously, this is my choice for an excellent travel, hiking and all-around tripod.
